Who We Are

A registered Kenyan NGO with a seven-year track record, delivering solar-powered water infrastructure to schools and communities.

Water Abundance Africa is a registered Kenyan NGO promoting access to clean water, improved sanitation, and solar energy solutions for schools and communities in arid and semi-arid regions since 2019. We combine borehole drilling with solar power to deliver permanent, climate-resilient water infrastructure — and we’re building the financing systems to scale that model across the continent.

Waterlift Solar Limited

Water Abundance Africa works in partnership with Waterlift Solar Limited, a leading solar energy and borehole drilling company in Kenya with over 2,400 installations across all 47 counties.

Waterlift Solar provides the engineering, procurement, and construction capability — designing, procuring, and installing solar-powered water systems. Water Abundance Africa channels concessional capital, donor funding, carbon revenue, and blended finance instruments to make these installations possible in schools and communities that cannot afford upfront costs.

Together, we form an integrated ecosystem where donor capital multiplies into commercial investment, and every installation generates the carbon revenue to fund the next.
