Monitoring & Evaluation

How we track, verify, and report on programme outcomes.

Water Abundance Africa follows a structured monitoring and evaluation process for every project, from initial survey through to long-term outcome reporting — the same data discipline required for Green Climate Fund Executing Entity eligibility and Gold Standard carbon programme verification.

Stage 1

Baseline Assessment

Every project begins with a hydrogeological survey and community needs assessment, establishing baseline water access, school attendance, and health indicators before installation.

Stage 2

Installation Verification

Solar and water infrastructure is inspected and signed off against engineering specifications before handover, in partnership with Waterlift Solar Limited.

Stage 3

Post-Installation Monitoring

Water yield, solar output, and system uptime are tracked at each site, with community water management committees reporting on ongoing performance.

Stage 4

Outcome Reporting

Student attendance, litres delivered per day, and community members served are collected and published in our annual impact report as data becomes available.
